   well, one of the many hassles of having vista. i would suggest re-installing the drivers of the usb if it came with any.

   I have tried that and it comes up as an “Unknown Device” which means the gay thing can’t find drivers or anything, not working with any USB Device I have.

   I think my motherboards gone.

   The pen drive is not the main problem, all USB Devices do not work.

   This solution has worked for some people with problematic USB devices:

   Locate the file INFCACHE.1 in C:\Windows\inf

   Right click on the INFCACHE.1 file, select Properties >Security > Edit, and give
   your username full control.

   Rename it to INFCACHE.1.BAK

   Reboot your PC and it should reinstate the USB driver files.

   I get the portable version of the application and i write the package myself to make it u3 compatible.

    What Antivirus do you use?? I have see lately that “Nod32 v.3″ instead of clean or Quarantine trojan from USB it don´t let the USB to be recognize by the OS. So when I plug my Sandisk Micro U3, it load ok the “CD drive” partition, but the DATA STORAGE partion remains unreacheable.

    Have you install a new software lately??? I have REAL problems when try to USE “Media Monkey Mannager 3.05beta” It makes crash both of them. So don’t use MEdia Monkey While you plugin the Sandisk Micro U3, still not a fix for this.
