The third MS Publisher file is not available: “File not found.” I was able to download the first two, only.

I joined the files but there is no extension on the file after joining?

I added the extension “.u3p”. My new Cruzer 4gb U3 drive processed the file okay and gave me the message that MS Publisher had been installed.

When I ran it, I got a window with a red “X” that said:

“Microsoft Office Publisher has not been installed for the current user. Please run setup to install the application.”

Anyone know how I can run “setup”?

Downloaded on my 4gb Cruzer Smart Drive.

    Works perfectly.

    1. Installed
    2. Thinstall notification on bottom left.
    3. Opened Publisher with no hassle.

I don’t know what you problem could be.

Hmmm. I sure don’t know how to get into a “setup” program when I’ve used the U3 installer. Too bad. I thought I was there. Thanks for the help.

There shouldn’t be a setup program, this software if fully compatible.

O well your luck on this software.

I’m having the same problem. Could it be a windows XP versus Windows Vista Issue?

Or is it possibly a UK vs US issue with the software?

I installed this applicaton on my SanDisk Cruzer Titanium 4GB, and after I chose a type of label to work on, the SW throwed this error:

Any1 else facing the same issue ?

I have the same thing. “Microsoft Office Publisher has not been installed for the current user. Please run setup to install the application.”.

Too bad, this seemed really useful.

I’m also running winxp and have a cruzer 4gb.

Sorry, I don’t know why it’s doing that, it’s a portable version as well. I will look into it and try and update it.

And @ Phillip: It is a US Version of the software anyway, so it won’t really matter on your ends.

Installing but not working, when launching, the same message: “Microsoft Office Publisher has not been installed for the current user. Please run setup to install the application.” Installed on sandisk 8gb cruzer.

I get the same error message as the others, that is has not been installed. MY OS is Vista. Perhaps I’ll try it on my XP laptop. I have a cruzer micro 2GB.

Hi — I’ve been hanging out for a portable version of this — but — same problem —
Microsoft Office Publisher has not been installed for the current user. Please run setup to install the application

    Has anyone got a solution?
