   Please do note that this is the Beta version of the software and there may be bugs.

   Also I have not tested this application so please do report any errors.

   I noticed that with the U3 version of Chrome, my history and bookmarks aren’t portable.

   I set up my bookmarks, and when I plugged my U3 drive into another computer, the bookmarks were gone.

   Back to the original computer, and the bookmarks and history are back.

   Is there a way for users to change this, or is it hard coded in the program?

   Well since it is at BETA stages there hasn’t really been an official portable version released, I will try and find a way to fix the bookmark problem.

   if you use your computer and save your book marks then you go to another computer and try to go to your book marks they do not show but if you go back to your original computer that you saved the book marks from then they will be there. so I think that maybe but i’m not sure yet that you have to save the book marks you want on each computer you visit then next time you come back to that specific computer then the specific book marks you made on that computer will show up. I will comment back when i see if my theory works or not but all i know for sure is that the first thing I said is correct.

   I keep my bookmarks in a portable Firefox anyway, so I just use Chromium (since it’s not an official build from Google, it’s not Chrome ) when I need a renderer other than Gecko. It is nice regardless.

   This build (2.151.0) works fine at home, but that’s not where I need it. When trying to run it from my U3 at a public library, all sites render with the sad folder face and “Aw, snap! Something went wrong while displaying this web page.” Other U3 apps work fine, including FF 2. (I’m using U3 FF to write this note.)

   When entering something into the multi-box, Chromium suggests completions, so some communications are working.

   FWIW, the library’s machine is running XP, though which version I can’t tell because of restrictions.
